The Founder
Founded by Carla, a single mother with a vision, alongside her three daughters, The Beauty Box by Sheriff x GlamGoRound has grown into a legacy of beauty, resilience, and purpose. Today, Amanda leads the company alongside her mother, guiding the brand forward with a modern, elevated vision.
Married since 2002 and supported by a successful business leader, the foundation of the brand is deeply rooted in family, strength, and leadership. That same foundation has shaped each daughter’s path — from Mr. Kane Juice Bar in Toronto, to Megan Alanna Homes, a thriving real estate and property management company, to a rising presence in the performing arts with Cassidy.
What began at home has extended far beyond — influencing not only a family, but a community. Through the Academy and children’s spa experiences, Carla continues to instill confidence, creativity, and self-worth into every child and student she encounters.
Together, they represent more than a brand — they are building a lasting legacy rooted in empowerment, growth, and the art of glam.
Our Journey
From our early beginnings, The Beauty Box by Sheriff x GlamGoRound has grown through passion, resilience, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional beauty experiences.
Our journey began over a decade ago, working alongside Panache Modeling on Corydon, where we built our foundation in the beauty and fashion industry. From there, we expanded into our own space at 513 Osborne Street South, where we proudly served clients and grew our community for over five years.
In 2018, we took a major step forward, opening our flagship location on Ellice Avenue — a 3,200+ square foot space where we delivered beauty services, hosted events, and trained the next generation of artists through our academy. This location became a central hub for creativity, education, and client experiences until 2023.
Following the pandemic, we were selected to pilot a retail concept at St. Vital Centre, allowing us to reimagine how beauty services could be delivered in a changing market. Through this experience, we recognized a major shift in client needs and the future of the industry.
Today, we’ve evolved beyond the traditional salon model. With the launch of our Glam Hub Locations and mobile services, we are able to reach more clients across the city — offering flexible, high-quality beauty experiences without the limitations of a single storefront.
Throughout our journey, we’ve had the opportunity to work on major productions, including providing makeup for Canada’s Top Model, and collaborating with celebrities and
industry professionals both on set and behind the scenes.
Every step has shaped who we are today — a brand built on experience, innovation, and a commitment to helping every client feel confident, seen, and empowered.
